Default HFP suspension for the Si sedan

Does anyone know when the HFP suspension will be released for the Si sedan??
I really want to get it, but I can't find it anywhere. I have seen a couple sites stating it will be released in Spring 07.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Aaron

Yeah, I thought since there was only 60 lbs difference in weight between the two that the difference in spring rate would be negligable, if anything maybe lowering the sedan a tad bit more (not a bad thing)

I understand that the weight distribution may be different and require different rates for that reason. That's the only thing I know of... unless there are physical suspension differences (like there are with the rear sway bar)

I know that there are parts that cross over, but I really don't want to be the test subject to find out. I do know that the Injen CAI for the coupe fits the sedan.

Si comes with Si suspension, Ex with Ex suspension...
Each has it's own HFP kit. Stock Si is still better than stock Ex.. HaHa!

If you wanna run incorrect (not optimized) strut valving and spring rates be my guest. I understand they will all bolt up, but the part numbers are different for a reason.

they're not marginal enough to be like "don't run the Si HFP suspension on your EX, it will **** your **** up" .. maybe the other way around it definitely don't want to do that, but i dont' see any ryhme or reason why NOT to run an Si suspension on an EX

Your front end might sit up a little higher than stock (K20 is a little heavier, not much) which like I said affects spring rate and strut valving not just for the front, but the rear. The car should stay balanced, which is why Honda engineered 2 stock suspensions and 2 HFP suspensions for the civics.

I'm not quite sure why you think running si suspension on an EX is beating the system and putting you ahead of the game... I understand not putting Ex suspension on the si, but I wouldn't advise the other way either. Buy the correct parts for your car. Just my $.02

Not trying to start a fight with ya SeanJohn, just not understanding your logic

why the hell did you even feel the need to click on thread titled "HFP Suspension for the Si Sedan".

So you could come in here thinking that your the man cuz you got an EX and the Si is just doomed to nothing-ness? Does it make you feel better to come in here to talk trash and say that the si suspension will fit on your EX

Tre, do you know if there will be a totally separate part # for Si sedan. I remember you saying that after the body kit, you were leaving the dealership. I really want to get this wheel gap down and want to use the HFP suspension. I am willing to wait for the right kit and saw the "HFP Si Sedan" somewhere on the net.

If you would ask him if he used the Si coupe HFP kit, or if the Si sedan HFP kit has been released, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks alot, Aaron.
