Default Checking the condition of pistons after a 4 months use

Hey guys, I'm planning on putting in some Nippon PR3 pistons STD size that I have got from my friend's setup. The pistons were from a turbo b16 that he put together for the last season and ran them for just under 4 months(7000miles) and the car ran great. He went the forged route and decided to give me these pistons as a hookup for my old b18b.

He took some pics and dropped by so I could inspect them but noticed just under the last piston ring on the piston body, that there seems to be some very very minor scuffing.

Should I worry about these? there are absolutely NO cracks in them and they seems to be in great condition otherwise. When touching the 'scuffing/discoloration' you cannot really even feel it on the pistons. It's not like they dug into the cylinder wall and have grinded down. They still have the curve of the piston itself

thanks

They seem fine to me. I'd still use them. the exhaust side will always have more scuffing than the intake because of centrifical mass, blah blah blah, if they look good and have no cracks then they'll be fine.

4 things that would make a piston useless. Cracks, chipping along the crown, complete melt down or broken ringlands. These dont have any signs of a bad piston. Use them.
