7th gen stuff into 6th gen?
Hey guys,
Well, my mother's 2004 accord 4 door v6 auto was just totalled. However, the damage is all cosmetic and suspension related, the interior and drivetrain are fine.
I'm considering buying the salvage back from the insurance company, for the purpose of using parts in my 6th gen 4cyl 4 door 5 speed. I'd like to swap the motor, trans (manual though), brakes, maybe steering wheel, and seats, f&r or just front. Also, I'd swap anything else I could that would be worth it.
Has anyone done this kind of thing before, and know what all I can use? Is there a manual transmission I could get a hold of to put onto that motor instead of the auto it comes with?

I think, with the two cars being totally different (chassis, engines, transmissions) it would be more work than it's worth. But hey, if you like a challenge, go for it.
