Default swaping to obd1 and mpfi

im in the prosses of wiring my motor and im using the effin guide i found somewere and i got to the point were i swapped over the clips on the old original wirning harness so it will plug right into the obd1 distributer, i have the two extra wires that are going to be connected right to the ecu, but i also ended up with an extra black wire and i dont know what im sopposed to connect it to, i was thinking maybee its just a ground. anyone one have any ideas what this wires for?

well make sure you do one thing at a time...get the mpfi swap all squared away, then attack the obd1 changeover...i tried it all at the same time, which made it very difficult to pinpoint my problems. best of luck to ya
