Default Best drag radials for the street with 500+whp

First of all I drive a dsm, but I figured this would be the best place to come for fwd drag radial advice. My new set up is making right around 500whp on pump gas (no meth) and I was looking for a good size/type drag radial to run. Currently it just spins the street tires right when boost hits all the way to redline, even in third gear. I'm not after a 60' foot time or anything as I already have a set of slicks for the track. I mainly just want to be able to have fun on the street from 3rd gear rolls again. A buddy of mine in a ~500whp GSt said that he would still spin the Nitto (could have been BFG) 245/16s from a roll and I don't want to drop the cash only to have the tires not work out for me. I currently run 225/50/16 ES 100s for sizing refrence, and my 26x8.5 slicks fit fine. I was considerig the MT 235/60/15s but wasn't sure they would be enough. If not, then I may be able to fit the 255/16 MT drag radials but it would probably be more work.

Thanks in advance

235-60-15 is 26.1" tall.

I'd say go with those, but some say the 235-60-15 M&H bias ply DOT DR hooks better, and comes in at 25.4" tall

Thanks for the advice. I'm just affraid the MH dots won't be as streetable as the MT radials. Does anyone have experience with the MH or 500whp experience witht eh 235 MTs? The 255/16s are also 26.1" tall fwiw.

There are lots of DSM forums. You're better off asking there, where people are familiar with your car.

There definately isn't a deep pool of 500whp fwd ones though. I'm sure there is a much greater amount of 500whp honda's. Thanks for the tip there buddy.
