Default Clean ITR?

Wow this is a lot harder than I thought!
I put a wtb up for a mint itr between $15-$20k CAD locally, and have got nothing but ITR's that have been ruined (in my mind anyway).

Just talked a to a guy who knew nothing about his car! "its got valves and a polished head, and a new $13k motor custom made, that's all stock"
He wanted $19k for an itr with 140,000kms, lots of crappy mods, a questionable paint job that's "guarenteed for life" and no service records. "my buddies a mechanic who does all my work" wtf?!?

I even talked to a guy and asked him why his itr had a sunroof. he didn't understand what i was getting at....lol

The search continues

No ebay parts, mis-matching body pannels, painted interior, things that can't be changed easily.
Random parts that are out of place: missing strut bars, vin numbers, interior pieces, zip ties holding the intake on, etc...

I understand that they aren't going to be perfect so things like altezza lights can be replaced, same with ugly shift boots, type r seat covers, huge stereo systems etc...

Hello guys.
I realize Im not in Canada but i believe i have an ITR in very good condition.
I also feel it meets the criteria that a lot of you and other buyers are looking for (low milage, no accidents, mint, clean title), let me know what you guys think or if any of you are interested.

theres a couple in vancouver, havent really seen them in persone tho, so cleanliness may be dissapointing, ONE that i have checked out though, is a py at burrard acura, it has a full page of mods tho, so im not sure how you feel about that. the first one is insanely minty, the second one was just put up for sale, and i dont know about the rest.

Just finished checking out 2 more itr's.

first one was from an acura dealership. #00-0820. looked really questionable right away. the paint job was horrid! They didn't mask off any of the rubber trim above the doors, and only wet sanded half the car? I'm sure this car was originally cw, and "painted" py. The wiring in the engine bay, and motor mounts where partly painted, same with a bit of the tranny....
The tilt steering was broken which lef the steering colomn hanging down...wow

second one was a little better, from a private seller. py, jdm front, but has a theft recovered title on it and they replaced the vin numbers. had paper work for it...few other minor things. dont think i can get over the theft recovered title. and he wants $16.5k for it

I had the same problem as you do. It took me a year to find a mint Type R.
Just be patient and you will find one
