I recently accquired a cable LS tranny with a motor i bought. I was told the tranny shifts clean in all gears with no grinds whatsoever however it has 5th gear pop out. What causes this? How hard of a fix is it? and How much would it cost to repair?

 

make sure there is enough oil in the trans... should be a about 2.5 quarts... put the car on a level surface, take the fill hole bolt out and fill it till it starts leaking

 

change ur tranny fluid
