Hey guys, my friend has a 96 sedan and she called me the other day asking about a gas leak she had.. so i went this morning and checked it out, strangest thing i've ever seen..

The spot where you put the gas in is leaking gas out, if you take the cap off theres just a puddle of gas in there and its just like slowly and consistently coming out..
Anyone ever heard of this before? What possible solutions?

Well, its doing it...

its like some kind of back pressure or something.. i dunno

 

are you saying that the gas is coming up the funnel of the tank and leaking out? how full is the tank?

 

it could be a bad seal on the gas cap. try using another cap that you know works and see if it still leaks.

Basically, yes... the tank was full, but even after running it down a bit, it was still doing it..
