Default accord type R lip kit

I know the front lip for the 94-96 accord type R lip will fit on to my 94 lude, but I have never heard of anyone putting on the rear type R lip from the accord. Will this lip bolt up like the front one does? Here is a link to an ebay auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW

no it will not fit.

the stock accord lip fits because it is in 3 peices and can be easily cut to fit.

the sides have to be cut and the middle peice has to be cut as well.

if you have the time and ability to cut and mold it then you could make it work...but it would be seriously modified.

So why do we bump random threads??? I've seen you do this before, and you say "BUMP" only a few minutes after the last post? What are you adding to this thread for doing that?

Anyways, hopefully the OP comes back and reads what WhiteBB2 said before he goes and buys that...

so basically the only lip that fits easily on the lude is the front type r accord lip, but nothing else. thanks for the help. I love that type R accord rear lip. Oh well. Are there any prelude rear lips that look like that accord type r raer lip? I would definately pick that up. I've never seen one before, but I haven't seen all of them I'm sure. Thanks again White

It surely wont just bolt up, as whitebb2 said it is too long to fit the prelude. However, I suppose it would be possible to get it to work as a two peice rear lip.

Just cut a small portion out of the middle (2 cuts) of the accord lip to get the right length and butt the two peices together, then trim the ends by the wheels.

Even the ATR front lip doesnt just bolt up. It has to be modified. The stock accord lip somehow bolts right up and lines up fine, but the ATR one does not.

I have both...Thats how I know this.

As far as the rear goes...You could do like milanolude said and cut a middle portion out, then bolt that to the bumper and then trim the end peices. But one slip up on that and you then become out over 100 bux!
