Default .::SixFiveOh VIDEO::. Nighttime "Touge"

Deleted the original post. Thanks for all the feedback, I've come to realize that it's not a smart move to push my car around on backroads. **** will stay on the track.

eh,not shabby.
but I really think you should do a lot more easy runs and practice before you go out and make that full throttle vid

some of the things you did didnt seem to be executed smoothly,so I would practice more. cool vid though, love the road

I just got into this stuff, I've hit this road probably 3 times, it's so much easier during day time. I'm always pretty damn jerky tho... it looks alot slower in the vid than it was tho... in my defense

Try not to shift as much.

Seems like you spent more time on the clutch rather than the throttle.

if i were YOU, ive seen ur thread about diy paitning ur car seen u post around ht i know youve worked a lot on ur DA, you DONT WANNA END UP LIKE ME , ill repeat that, i worked on my accord for 2 years this is wut i finally got

and uh.....i was an idiot and understeered and this turn going about 55-60 you can see the brake marks

and this is wut happened......

all these pictures were taken the day after.....it was a night run

i hink you shouldnt do any touge runs night or day even with upgraded GOOD suspension like i had. things can happen, you get overconfident, things can go wrong and you will be screwed over. not only will u lose ur car, you will get fined up the ***. its not worth it bro. this was on redwood rd in oakland. take care and dont crash ur car. its not worth going fast through turns for 2 mintues

I know, I know. It was my first time without a friend in front and I didn't really know how to judge the turns. We were about to go up right now again, but it's getting dark.

Saw that thread of yours man. Heartbreaker, bro. That CD was dope.

I know it's risky, but as you can see I wasn't really whippin thru the turns too hard, I kept a pretty stead pace, around 40-45mph thruout the road. And the shifting, well it's hard to get enough power to go up those hills comfortably in a stock LS

My car actually felt nice as hell up there. I'm on Ksport full coils and brand new Falken 512s. I've never taken it fast enough to hear so much as a screech out of the tires.

Looks like a fun road, but also a road that can bite you. Be careful

Dude I know, I almost didn't want to post it, it feels so much more badass then it looks on video lol. But I wanted to see my mistakes and make improvements, so why not.

Oh, and my CL was hit. Plus I'm in alot better of a financial situation right now, in the case of an accident it'd be much easier for me to get into another car.

Yeah haha that was a really dumb thing of me to say. Let's just put it this way, my car is capable of much more than I am, and I know my limits

learn the limits on the track or the autox, not on the touge..

i've driven on the touge with my car, and i never really liked it. i was always afraid to **** happening.. even though i know my limits, the conditions on the touge keep changing. there might be gravel on the road, causing the car to react different than what you are expecting, or there might be oil/fluids on the floor from a previous car that crashed or something... overall, conditions are too unpredictable that it can be very dangerous, even if you are driving cautious... just my 2 cents..

I could only watch like half of the vid because it was so dull... sorry dude, I'm sure its fun while your driving, but the vid just looks weak...

for a better vid, think about getting a faster car, a steady camera, some light, and most importlantly... a track...
