Rare Car Spotted: 95-96 3000GT VR4 Spyder...
i love seeing rare cars and i thought i'd share with the honda-tech community. according to wikipedia, only 1618 convertibles were offered...and these were modified by ASC in california. I didn't check the vin, but this car is either a 95 or 96. in any case, i like it. stock, for those who don't know, these cars had 320hp, around 300ft/lbs tq, awd, twin turbo v6.

Ah yeah, they are rare. I saw a red one several years ago driving around with the top down. I didn't get a very close look at it though.

if it's not your car, blur the ******* plates at least
a close friend had one... yes they are "fast" aka 13s but to do the thermostat we had to take off a bunch of **** off the engine bay just to get to it... pain in the ***... and that **** broke all the time (had it for like 2k miles) and then it broke and won't start

sick car...a doctor at the hospital i used to volunteer at in high school had 2 of em....a VR4 hardtop and the VR4 convertible. guess he really liked those cars
My aunt used to own one of these cars, they are def pretty fast for a mitsu. If I'm not mistaken I believe they had four wheel steering also, which is on among many many reasons why this car is so damn heavy.
Those cars has a lot of cool features.. twin turbo, awd, 4 wheel steering and the first gen I believe 92-94 had the active aero system which basically a front spoiler and rear spoiler would adjust for more aerodynamics at a certain speed
