I got a b16 head and a Ls block i was thinking about building the block with ITR Piston rods etc. and the head with CTR cams springs etc And i want to know if this would be a good combination for power and durability ???????? Not to big but not to small i want the engine to last

 

Ummmm, I see that your new. You must not know about the search feature on the site. Its at the top right of the screen in red. I did an lsvtec conversion and I used that search button for over a year before I even took one bolt out of anything. I suggest you do the same. Searching will answer all of your questions plus more. So good luck in your quest for answers.

 

well, for a start...read this guide. https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1 ..this should really help you out ALOT if you want your lsvtec to be reliable...and remember, do everything correct with NO shortcuts...do all your oilchange, tune-up, everthing on time and you should be good...as for your plans....prob would have been cheaper to buy a Type R motor than making your lsvtec an R....but you have block and head allready so whatever...CTR cams and ITR cams arent much different, i believe the only difference is on the exhaust cam....so run a quick search on that and i would suggest getting some more agressive cams....good luck on your lsvtec
