Yikes.....that doesn't look lowered that much at all. The front dropped maybe 1/2 inch, but the back still looks the same.

probably has to do with the lighting man.. the first pic it was HELLA cloudy outside, then the 2nd pic hella sunny outside... so that might have something to do with it

it does lower it more, like will just said, springs have to settle, but yeah still not low enough for me

h-tech = a drop under 1"
s-tech = a drop over 1"

I saw the S-techs on an FG2 and it didn't look lower than the Pro Kit i have on my car which is only a 1" drop front and i believe 1-1.2 in the rear.

They need more time to settle. I thought springs took a good 24hrs to fully settle.

Really? I thought Tein was high quality. I had B&G coilovers on my last car and they worked pretty good. But I had never heard of B&G before. AFter a while the coilovers needed to be adjusted and started sqeaking a little, but I expected it. I had had them on for about a year.

Tein's lower end stuff is crap (springs through flex coilovers), also beware of Tein S-Techs on eBay for an amazing price, they are probably knock offs. Get a quality spring from Eibach or H&R and you will be happy. I know it is hard, but be patient and wait for Koni to come out with their sport damper, get some GC sleeves and you will have the best possible setup for under $2000 dollars.

Jon

PS: If you disagree with me, go look at the damper graphs in the Suspension forum, Tein is not at all impressive. Their marketing is though!!

I thought that TEIN was a good brand... after i bought them everyone started to say that they are trash! i should have waited... oh well i guess

I have no problems as of yet no weird noises either such as "clank" sounds, the only noise i heard was when they were first installed and it went away in like a day.

I made sure that they were not knock offs by going to TEIN site they talk about it there:
http://www.tein.com/counterfeit/warning.html

I hear that comptech is best though: here is a link http://www.corsportusa.com/sto...d=684

TEIN is great, as long as you fork out the cash for the high end stuff.. Unless you plan on spending $1500 or more, look somewhere else for quality stuff.. I've run a Koni/Eibach combo on several cars and been more than pleased. Even put 20k miles on one setup with no issues at all.

Springs < $200 are all about the same Comptech and Eibach conduct more research though, that's why they get a little more for their springs..
