Leaking Oil!!!! Help me now!
Ok, so I did a research and found out that the prelude oil filter gasket goes bad so I replaced it with the brand new one. the old one had a crack and that's where I thought it was leaking oil. I also replaced the oil level sensor. Yesterday, There was no leak in my knowledge but I can still smell the oil burning. I checked my oil level today and it is almost empty... below the dot line!!.. What may be the problem? Also the very funny thing is that when I'm making a hard left, I hear click click click noise. I just replaced with rebuilt axles and new shocks and spring all around.. Help me H-T members!!
I'm having the same problem.. been 2.5 months now, still no fix. It's not the rear main seal, if you have the same problem. Mine was replaced twice. :/
The click click is the CV boot, which I also had replaced. lol

if by the oil filter gasket you mean the gasket that's between the cylinder where the sending/return lines go and the block, i had the same problem (4qts<50 miles). All I did was take that housing off, clean both surfaces with brake cleaner, and apply a fairly think coat of copper RTV to the block side, smeared with my finger, got rid of the excess and re-installed it. hasn't leaked a drop since. plus its cheap. its like $6/tube. hope it helps cause oil leaks are teh suck for sure!
