I found a site w/ new oem replacements...it said hid low's, H1 highs, and auxillary H3 fogs... so what kind of bulb is a H1? Hopefully I don't sound retarded... just not too familiar w/ lights yet...

Also... in your opinion, what's the best H1 bulb to go with? And another thing... if I want to convert my non-hid headlights to hid.... what's the best hid kit to buy for the money and quality?

Just go to autozone and get the silverstars or something, as for HID kit.

also.... never realized it, but the HID lense has a circle that the non-hid headlights do not have.

these pics are a side by side comparison. Got the picks from SD classifieds thread...the guy has a pair of non hid's and hid's up for sale.

Yes, on these lamps... but

He wanted to know about the h1 bulb... not whether or not it was the low or high beam light for his lamps...

For that price, I'm pretty sure they're not used. But if they are used....man.....that's a rip off.

This is common knowledge - as the hid's need the projector lense somewhat differently or focused in a unique manner or something.... easy to spot who got the cheap headlights and who spent the $$$

You're referring to the lens that came on the HID head lights......from what I am aware...those only came on the HID headlight assemblies. Someone is welcome to correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh and BTW...I saw in an OBX catalog, the knock offs for the JDM headlight asemblies. Although they're non-HIDs, they have the same lens as the JDM HID headlight assemblies.....
