94 Accord - Door Lock Problem
My car likes to try and lock the doors by itself. As long as I hit unlock, it will stop, but I lock the car with the key from the outside or the auto lock button on the inside the car conituosly keeps trying to lock itself and it won't stop unitl I press the unlock button. Does anyone have any ideas how to trouble shoot this one? I am not sure if replacing the auto lock switch on the door handle is the first thing to try or if there is another place I should look first. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

I'll bet the drivers door lock actutor is bad; You could prove it by removing the panel and unplugging it.
I've repaired a couple of those, by opening the case and then find the broken plastic tab with the spring under it. Shim the tab back in place with tiny washers/ or whatever.... and then a little drop of epoxy to hold it all in place.
Oh God, I'm becoming a 'cheap charlie' LOL
