As being a past owner of a Full-Race turbo system, I can happily say that it will fit with no issues at all. Well...unlike you, I didn't have a JDM front end. It may be possible that you might need to trim some of the inner pieces of the bumper to compensate for the FMIC piping there on the front right. I had mine mounted right under the main bumper support/impact area. Click the picture for a larger version.

Sorry to say I don't have the JDM f/e yet. I just wanted to know if would be an issue if I get the $$ to do the swap while the caR is down. I'm guessing thats a F/R intercooler painted black?
theres much more room with a jdm front then a us front, jdm front only have a small bar goin across the top, its a maybe 2 inch square bar, as you can see on the us front its a huge bar goin across the middle

Yes it is a Full-Race intercooler. I want to say that Geoff told me that they are anodized black. That's how he had them made. Personally, I like it. It was fun not having everyone know I was boosted.
Though, I don't think Geoff and Full-Race are doing that anymore to the intercoolers, which is sad.

Correct...they are anodized. When did they stop doing that?? I order my kit back in lte September/early October and they did mine for me. Maybe it was just recently they stopped??

But not having one to go look @ anywhere that I know of near me I had to start asking.
Another thing I've heard about the F/R kits is the fitment issue is as perfect as it can get. Thats another reason I was considering one.
If any of U guys are running or have run the F/R kits, which kit did U have? I've been looking @ the stage 1 AC (450hp) & the stage 2 AC (530hp).

I had the Stage 3 non AC/PS. Toooooo much for DD IMO.

Not true. I had a T3/T67 with the Stage 3. I was at full boost around 4800RPM. This was also with a bored lower end and 9.0:1 compression pistons. The guys tuning it on Neptune were amazed at how early boost came. This was also with the back door intercooler which is very efficient IMO.
stage 1 here, i get full boost before 4k.
couldnt afford a gt28rs at the time, that would have been my choice of turbo, right now i think ill upgrade my t3/t04 for a gt3071r in the near future. I guess u always want more power and less traction lol

Cool. I always try to make it clear I'm not trying to build a dyno queen, just something I can enjoy & take to the strip occasionaly & if it's not the fastest R in the world, thats OK too. So tell me, what injectors were u using? I got a set of 880's.
Are you talking to me?? I'm using RC 1000cc's.
I just picked my car up tonight from Evans-Tuning...I'll get a shot of my bumper tomorrow and post it up so you can see it
