Default Cams

I have a 2000 ITR. Im thinking of getting some cams for it. What do you all think. I thinking to of going with Rocket motorsports M22XX cams. My motor just has the normal bolt ons, header, intake...ect. What kind power should I see?

From what I understand about the cams, the M22x would be a better choice for your car than the xx's because of your stock compression ratio. Try PM'ing Aquifina or Clean Rice who are RM dealers and asking them.

no i haven't. i run P1's, actually. but, lets not be ignorant here. are you saying P2's are suitable for a B16? they suit radical 2L motors on here, but a B16? that thing must have 18.0/1 c.r and an F1 redline. once again, the trend continues. politics. sorry, Don F. you are king P2's are the best suited cam for a B16.

not bad at all. they are just too flippin' massive for a 1.6L or 1.8L 99.9% of the time

I believe that Mr. Flores has tested the Pro 2's on several motors and speaks from experience.

i know he does. i've pm'd him a few times for advice and guidance...which i'm grateful for, but, to question whether or not i've tried P2's means absolutely nothing. everybody that knows a bit about the hobby, knows that P2's are much too big for a 16, and that's a fact. frig, stg 1 cams peak at or near 9K on 16's. i'm not doubting his knowledge or experience. i question, coy, senseless replies for no apparent reason. he knows the P2's are too big for that motor, he just was to act like a dick. its the new trend on here, and i'm sick of it. sorry for the rant, but you know what i mean.....

So in effect--"generally" would the Pro1s make equal peak and better midrange on a mid-compression (11:1) b16 compared to Pro2s--or are the Pro2s going to make more power all the way through on the small motor?

Bigger isn't always better...
Do you own his motor or car?? how do you know its a stock b16..
Who knows he could have a 1 layer hg and a milled head??
Maybe his motor reacts differently with these cams..who knows you surely for one dont because you dont even know the guy, get your facts and **** in order before you completely try ot make an *** out of someone.
