Default Bolt-On Power Help (Searched)

I've been a member of honda-tech.com for about two years now and can honestly say i've learned more from this forum than anywhere else. This summer I'm going to purchase some bolt-on's for a little extra power. Next year I'm looking to build the engine and hopefully go turbo a year or two after that, I'd like about 450-550 WHP eventually but that's still a few years down the road. But as for now I have a 1994 Honda Prelude VTEC with basic suspension mods, H&R Springs, KYB AGX Shocks (probably Get Some KONI Yellow's this summer too), Suspension Techniques Sway Bars, Neuspeed Front Upper Strut Bar and some Polyurethane Bushings from Energy Suspension.

After spending hours on here and company websites this is what I'm thinking so far. Any problems you'll forsee or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

On the intake side I'm looking at a AEM V2 Intake, I'm thinking of sending my Throttle Body to Maxbore to get that bored out to 64 or 66mm and an Accord Euro-R Intake Manifold bored to match.

I'm still not completely sure about the exhaust side. As for a header, I'm not sure if it's worth it since I'll eventually go forced induction, however that isn't for a few years, but if I decide too I'm leaning towards Hytech. I'm having a friend make me a test pipe, as for the exhaust system I'm undecided, I want something quiet but something that I hopefully won't have to upgrade later on, I like the Apex'I WSII but I'm not sure how well that'll work out later, I could also have a custom 2.5" system made and then get a muffler, possibly a twin loop but I'd have to research a little more.

I think I'm going to go with a P28 ECU and a Hondata S200, or a P72 but I've been told a tuned P28 will be fine.

I am contemplating whether to get cam gears as well or if I should wait, the same goes for a fuel system, should I upgrade now or wait til next year when I have the engine built.

Like I said, I am new to this and am sure there are some flaws in this plan which is why I've posted this. Any problems, thoughts, or different ideas for this would be very helpful. Thanks in advance for your help.

-Brian

Well depending on how serious you are about building for boost later, 450 WHP on 2.5 inch exhaust is going to be very tough. I would try not to buy parts your just going to have to replace anyways. In most cases you can't easly sell it when your done with it and make some of your money back. A hytech header( which kicks ***) but to only replace it with the turbo manifold doesnt make any sence for a new hytech header they are around a 1,000 bucks give or take

I'd start with the basic things you can keep on both setups. Once everything is installed that you can use for both N/A and boost then ask yourself should I just save this money or spend it now and wait that much longer before I can start my turbo project. Just my 2cents

Agreed, no point on buying smack now that your going to have to replace later to go turbo. I mean if you want a cheap ebay intake, header, and exhaust to hold you over that's one thing, but I wouldn't bother spending money on better parts if your just going to have to replace them.

That's along the lines of what I was thinking. I guess I'll just have to decide this summer how sure I am about going forced induction. Thanks for your help.
