Skunk2 Pro-1 copies. My question is why would you buy a cam and not know what it was? What if they were Pro3 copies which are useless on 99% of motors built.

I figured these would be out sooner or later. I'd like to see if they do as well as the blox b's have done.

Okay so this is the duplicate from Pro1, another question is how do i check if it the real thing, not something cheap that he swapped and put in the P1-tuner box.

What's cheaper than a Blox cam?

I made 215 whp on a jdm itr motor with ported head and rmf header. Lil up in cr too via a gsr head and some milling.
also made 230 whp on a 11.5 cr 2.0ltr.

I didnt even know it was these cams as they were sent to me to test before they were released to the public. I found out later what they were. I still prefer buying the real deal, but these still worked real good..

I would imagine you could get them anywhere Blox cams are sold.

The P1 is not on the market yet as i search and couldnt find info for it. I bought it from a guy who work there and sell them to me. How did he get it and sell it to me? I dont know and dont wanna know. I just wanna make sure he didnt put blox cam A or cam B (cheaper than P1) instead.

They have been for sale for quite some time, Blox has not updated their website in forever.

How much cheaper are these cams, and are the 100% identical to the skunk 2
pro series 1. How about cam itself, made of the same material/quality? Or would it better to get the skunk cam?

I have owned 1 set of Blox cams and the quality LOOKED ok but where the trouble came into play was when I tried to contact the company for some Spec's and customer support their was NONE. They are unable to even tell you the spec's of the cams. So next time I made no mistake and went with something that I would not have this problem. The extra cost is well made up for in support if you have a problem. Something you will not find on Ebay or Replica's.

Is "maybe or similar" worth it for you? That is the question you have to be willing to answer.

They are not exact copies. I have seen the cam degree sheets on them.
They still made good power, but if you want the real pro-1 profile then buy them from Skunk2. If you dont care about them being exact then run these.

Plus they copyied the prototype and the primary timing is now different on the Skunk cam. Those will idle worse, as the production Skunks fixed that problem, those with the fake Pro1's have a idle problem. Primary centerlines are off by several degrees.
