well, 5 lugs distribute stress 20% better than 4 lugs...

but mostly the bigger/better brakes are the reason for doing the swap, not the extra lug itself.

why do people do 5 lug before say painting every panel of the car the same color? unless your in it for the bigger rotors there really is no point....and even then you can get bigger brakes on a 4 lug. Pointless but i can respect the originality....just i cant justify spedning the money on 5 lug and having a different color bumper. (Unless its mid project in this case) but ive seen it where people worll 5 lug and a purple door lol
