Default half shaft issue?

I'm getting this clunking type noise when the throttle is on and I turn left and I'm not sure what it could be. I've already replaced the left driveshaft because the joint was chewed up and that fixed it for a little while. Now the sound is back.

The strange thing is this only happens when the car is cold. Once the car warms up the sound goes away. Initially it was only when I turn left, but now it ocasionally happens when I'm going straight as well. I just slightly hold the throttle and you can hear this clunking type noise. It's not a driveshaft click..

I just did a tranny flush with the new Advanced formula MTF today and still have the problem.

I'm pretty sure it's not the wheel bearings or anything, the car drives fine, no pulling or vibrations at any speed.

I'm starting to think it's the half shaft bearing.. how often do these go bad?

Check your brake pads.

Sounds strange, I know. But I had the same problem, and it ended up being the brake pads shifting.

If that doesn't fix it, it sounds like a transmission problem to me.

In for updates... I'm curious what this turns out to be.

I'm sure its not the brakes and I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the tranny.. and actually after using that new advanced formula MTF the car shifts ultra smooth..

I'm actually thinking that one of the joints in the driveshaft that I replaced is starting to go bad again as the noise is the same as the last time. I replaced the original with a used oem driveshaft from another ITR as I don't trust those remanned ones.

The noise was very faint this morning.. it only lasts for about 5 minutes until the car is warm..
