Default My B20VTEC Dyno

I dyno tuned (street tune) my car today on Chrome Pro @ Whitfield Racing. I'm going to return with a camp1320 header and s2s2 cams very soon. My megan 4-1 with a 2.25 collector along with piping is killing my setup. I'm still on a stock dx fuel pump and gsr throttle body I also had a slipping clutch with broken tranny when I dyno'd

Setup:
Comptech ITR Ported Head w/ PortFlow ValveTrain
JUNK MEGAN RACING HEADER WITH 2.25 PIPING
Skunk2 Stage1 Cams
Skunk2 ProSeries Intake Manifold
ARP HeadStuds
RC 370 Injectors
B&M FPR and Guage
B20B Block
84.5 CP 11.5 C/R Pistons
Eagle Rods
Golden Eagle B20VTEC Kit
Golden Eagle B20 Block Guard
Cometic Headgasket
ITR Oil and Water Pump

Anyways, heres the dyno sheet!

Get a better header and bigger cams and you will be making some good power.

remind me what the reason was for dynoing with all your cars ailments was? seems like people love to make excuses why their car isnt making power yet seem to always blame something else. why even hit the rollers at all. fix the car then dyno it.

Probably to see where they stand before they start doing **** like cams and a header.. as you can see, this will provide good info in the future..if he's getting a rage header, you can compare the rage vs the megan, of course its goin to make more power, but how much more? Well you see in the graph comparsion. his b20Vtec is almost 200whp for having a crapy 2.25 exhaust, and header and small cams i believe thats very good.. i'm sure he's goin to be deep into the 210~220 area after a good header and cam combo is setup..

He's not making excuses, he's telling you why he isn't making Such good power, when in reality, who's car actually makes that much power on a crappy header to begin with, i believe its a solid setup.

so you're telling people not to dyno tune their car until they complete 100% of their setup? this is my daily driver. what if they want to see where they stand with different mods? i just listed what mods i had and what mods will be next to meet my power goal along with what may have affected it. i need a car to go to school/work, right when I got my setup in i got it tuned, unfortunately my pressureplate and tranny had some problems on the way there. The very next week I got my current tranny (usdm itr lsd tranny with brand new 6puck clutch) and it runs very smooth. theres no way i'm going to ruin my setup by driving it with some $25 chip with who knows what rather than getting tuned, as almost everyone here on h-t says, get tuned asap.
