same stuff pretty much, ive just seen the paint and spoke width is a little different but they both look the same i think. and never mind the comments about them being fake if you like the design and cant afford real gabs go for it imo. replacing a dented or GT3 or DR16 is much more economical then a real one.

But inst using genuine and original japanese parts what the japanese car tuning lifestyle is all about? Its like in high school, if all your buddies are wearing tommy hilfiger brands, and you want to fit in, and can't affford it or dont want to spend the money, so you buy fake tommy knock offs? Trust me , ive bought the fake tommy and it will never feel the same as the real deal. So using fake replica parts is just to "fit in" the japanese tuning crowd, RIGHT??? Save money, do heavy research in japanese new parts/used parts(like literally buying off the japanese market) and the right wheel or part will come with time. Trust me, anyone with time under there japanese "love belt" will stand firmly on this. What do you think?

Don't listen to the JDM ******, save your money and get something that actually improves performance rather than compensating for some shortcoming. Rota Wheels are just fine, and any idiot who tells you otherwise needs to look at the multitude of succesful lo-budget racers that use them. JDM/=always better Not only do very few of these myopic JDM fanbois really value performance, but many of them spend more time worrying about image that making their car faster or improving their own driving. I guarantee you will get more benefit out of taking a driving school with the money you save when you buy Rotas over the JDM bling blang crap.

Jon

PS: It is odd for someone who drives a Civic (Honda's budget car ) to recommend a set of rims that are probably worth more than 1/5th the total value of their car.

to tell you the truth i never even knew about gabs or rotas until i actually started seeing them on integras. i was going around telling guys 'NICE WHEELS!!!' thinking it was a compliment but after i slowly realized that most of the sets i was seeing were knockoffs, i started to wonder if those guys were thinking i was being sarcastic.

i mean really, what REAL benefit is there to paying thousands for an expensive brand name of wheels when you can basically have the same wheel for MUCH less??

its not like gabs are going to roll on the ground better than rotas or drags.

if i came across a set of gabs i would sell them and get two sets of rotas.

What I posted doesnt get any more truthful, and yes the truth hurts. And look at the subject like this--- "JDM"= Fad that will die out just like crazy body kits in the 90's etc.etc., and on the other hand, Japanese Motorsports/Tuning= Lifestyle lived throughout a person's vehicle and mindset. When you state "JDM ******" I hope you are refering to the group of people who jumped on the band wagon a within the last couple years. Which is fine and all, I would rather have a bunch of "JDM ******" putting around then a bunch a riceburners any day. BUT You will know a true japanese sports car enthutheist when you see one. Like those of us who have been watching Option Video Magazine when it was only available on VHS lol.

BOTTOM LINE: There is absolutly no feeling like owning genuine pieces of japanese motorsports heritage. Rock a set of rota GT3's(which I DONT hate), the go sport a set of OG gab sports. No matter if they cost $1,200 or $300. No matter if they are mint, or rough condition, the warm fuzzy feeling is genuine, and cant be found among replica parts. You won't get hate from me either way!! Just tryin to spread the japanese love.

They are very similar wheels. Drag is a little bit cheaper in pricing. It's up to you if you want to sport Rotas or Drags center cap. It's all in the name!
