i have a 93 prelude vtec and it fire backs (trowing a flame) if i switch gears in vtec, so i want to find out if its normal the only mods i have is AEM CAI, cheap Ebay Headers outlet is 2.25, Ebay Test Pipe the inlet is 2.25 and outlet is 2.5in, and 2.5inch pipe going to my axel back muffler which was on my 98 prelude and the inlet of it is the stock size of the muffler pipe i think its 2.25 and outlet is 4inch. so can someone tell me if its normal, by the way i got a ticket for it cuz its too loud DAMN cops

 

Well my car used to shoot nice flames. Shifting from 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd. I was running no cat and I think that was the main reason.

I have since did a valve adjustment. and it seemed to stop doin it. Or at least not as often. My car has always run a bit rich.
