so basically your saying the car pulls to one side or the other while driving?

When was the last time you had an alignment?

are you talking about abruptly turning left and right then left and right at a high speed and you get that feeling like your car is floating on a flat?

ya, that's normal, it's your tire's reaction to the motion and the friction with the ground.

Try it in another car, it'll do the same thing.

I've never done that on bald tires, frankly I'd be scared to unless I was on a skid pad.

it's probably the distance from where the tires meet the ground to where the rim meets the tires, add in a little suspension flex and that's pretty much what you're moving.

What!? Thats not normal. Your car should never abruptly sway left or right at any speed. Maybe it's the way your describing it.

Did you just start experiencing this after putting new tires on?

The last tires I had on my Accord were Kumho tires and they followed the road more than any tire I've had before. By this I mean, depending on the road I was on the car would pull in different directions. Not abruptly change direction, but a pull to one side or the other. My car had a good alignment, proper tire inflation, and after reading multiple reviews on the tires I figured it was the tire that was just following the road, nothing wrong with the car and nothing that could be done.

But if your getting abrupt direction changes then something is wrong.

So I'll ask again, when did you get your last alignment?

the abrupt I was defining as YOUR OWN INPUT to the vehicle, not a response from the vehicle.

Edit: and I've had my car aligned twice since I've put tein coilovers in and I have the Kumho excedes (however it's spelt) my last alignment was done 3 months ago after I installed rear camber adjustments.

get in your car, get on the freeway, get up to about 65-70 and make the steering wheel move (as if the top were 0 degrees) from 0 to 345 and then to 25, a full 50 degrees in rotation from left to right, now do the reverse the moment you reach 25 for another 50 degrees of rotation, repeat this untill you feel your car wobble.

yeah, uh, no. Why would anyone do that?

Also, I wasn't asking you about your alignment, I was asking the OP like I did earlier.

I've actually seen someone else do it before, it's a rather bizare sight.

I mostly do it to get a reaction from my passenger.

Never do this under any other weather condition than dry pavement, or you'll end up in the median, possibly backwards. No that's not from experience.
