9.70-144 The car is a Mitsubishi Mirage LS from Puerto Rico running without swap, just his 1.8 sohc engine turbo+nos, full interior car. This was the first and only run of the night, they get some problems at the final of the run with the oil pressure and don't test it again.

I'm looking for a video of the 9.7 run but at this time haven't found it, just add a few months ago run of 10.3 added at the first post

On the video of the 10.30 pass the wheelie bar is as plain as day. At about the 70ft mark when the camera has a side view you will see the outline.

no, I remember a few weeks ago the owner of the car post some pics of the turbo manifold custom made by the engine builder and tuner, it looks awesome but don't find them, exactly the problem they get in that 9.7 run was the oil pump that broke and the pressure goes down, they are solving that problem to go track this days, they want 9.5 and a few mph more I'm a honda fan but that car impress me a lot considering they are running the mirage original 1.8 sohc engine, no swap there, the engine mods and parts are most custom made by themself and pistons and other parts custom orders, as you know that type of engine is not very popular at the drag scene, and full body-interiors, no lexan, no fiberglass

Yeah I know. I imagine very well what is involved with all the custom work.

I'm a DSM guy so we went with a 4G63 motor, something we know very well. Still, there was a lot of fabbing for everything else. So imagine with a SOHC 1.8L Mitsu motor!!

I like the stock interior too. You can see it clearly on that pic.

You PR guys are really hard core. I remember when stripped Civics were in the 15's here (US and Canada) while you guy were already running low 10's in Starlets and other crazy RWD compact cars from the 70's!!! You guys have been racing imports forever and still are passionate about it.
