my friend is messing with a 6th gen 4cyl and it wont start... headlights dont come on and no click from the starter... any ideas? they just got hit with a snow storm too if that could mess anything up.

 

so you're not getting power to anything in the car?

the first time they started the car, did the starter crank at all?

is there any corrosion on the battery?

do you have a voltmeter? If so, check the battery. If not, take it to an autozone and have them test it for you (free)

 

exactly what my friend posted befor me. make sure there is no corrosion. if there is clean it up and make sure the connections are tight. check battery voltage. check the cables also
