Im not sure on exact exhaust measurement... except the 2 and 1/4, but why does my exhaust go from 2 and 1/4 and after it hits the tail pipe, shrinks to about 1 and 3/4?

 

Is it stock?? If so, it's because Honda made it that way.
lol, But really, it's an '84 with a 1.8L 12 Valve engine, it's was the '80's, didn't need a big exhaust on cars that were trying to be more fuel efficient.

If it's not stock, then... I dunno.. Someone used some extra pipes laying aroudn??

 

yeah its stock, i was just wondering.
cuz i jumped under there to check something out, and i saw it.
so i think im gonna try to figure out a way to get the tail pipe unbolted if possible... its really rusted. but yeah, then i'll just run 2 1/4 pipes the rest of the way out.
