Default Wrong intake manifold gasket?

I ordered this off ebay. It was supposed to be a Password JDM intake manifold gasket for GSR. It looks nothing like what was pictured in the auction, and I don't know what head this will fit on. Here is a link for what I bought and below is a picture of what I recieved.

*I know this is probably in the wrong forum but this one moves faster than any other forum so I know I will get the answer I'm looking for.

Thanks for you help!
Cody

I bought 2 of those from the same guy. I am using it right now . It fits perfectly for my gsr. You shouldn't have any problems using it

Ok thanks man.

I was really pissed when I posetd this thread. Only because the item I got was not the item pictured. Kinda makes me wonder ya know?

But I put it up next to my GSR head and it looked like it would work.

You find me a picture of a PasswordJDM intake manifold gasket for a GSR.

I looked.

Yeah.. I just opened the package it came it. Went to leave feedback on eBay. Saw it was different. And then I immediately posted it up on here to see if it's the right thing or not. What's the harm in that?

I might have saved a couple other people some questions too.

I checked after I got some feedback on here and it should work just fine. Is there any way to tell if this is a real "PasswordJDM" intake manifold gasket or not? Cuz this thing just came in a bag, nothing to do with PasswordJDM at all.

I did ask the seller. That is the first thing I did.

Still haven't heard back from him.

That gasket is designed to fit a GSR. Now will it fit properly and last, probably not. I haven't seen one of these copy-cat gaskets last even a year. And much less than that if they are installed on winter driven cars. Most of them will crack and the result is a pretty nasty vacuum leak. The only good ones are the genuine Hondata gaskets. They fit the best and last much longer than the copies. Just my personal opinion.

Buying car parts off ebay is like playing a shitty game of chance with some sellers.

For 10 bucks? What a joke. You've got a quality item there. I bet it cracks in 2 months.

I contacted the seller and he swears up and down it is a real PasswordJDM gasket.

What he said was the he recently bought a company that was going out of business, and he has lots of these that he needs to get rid of.

I tried to make a post to compare the differences between the Hondata gasket and the PasswordJDM gasket and it got deleted?

Both gaskets are ******* plastic, what makes one better than the other?
