Default JDM EL gauge cluster...

Ok, I know the JDM cluster will not work in our LHD cars, BUT will it work if you swap all parts from the JDM housing to the USDM housing so the shape of the housing will work? or just swap over the face plates? there are some JDM EL gauges for sale on ebay, and was wondering if this would work.

yeah you would have to follow the same steps to convert the gauge cluster over. which IMO is too much work. plus I would wonder if they are wired the same way as USDM

really? I had no idea.

are there any differences between the automatic and manual clusters? does the manual cluster have a gear sleector indicator? like a civic?

Yes. The AT lists the gears and lights a circle next to the one you are in. It is located right between the tach and speedo. The MT gauges don't have it.
