what year is your civic if it's '96 or older you need 205/40-16 the size you mention is too big you can get the azenis in 205/40-16 the azenis has the best traction on dry pavement they wear fast though have you ever heard of using capital letters to start sentences have you ever heard of using periods to end sentences these punctuation marks are used in proper english to break up sentences it makes your posts a lot easier to understand you ought to try it otherwise nobody's going to bother reading your posts when you don't do this your posts just sound like a bunch of words strung together that don't mean anything learn to write so that people will try to understand you thank you

the best bang for the buck and most popular is the Falken Azenis... There are better, but they are way more expensive... It's your call.

Sorry but please explain how the Falken Azenis is the best bang for the buck tire?
They aren't cheap, they don't last long and they suck in the rain. They are outstanding in the dry and that is about it. So how does that make them the best band for the buck tire when it sucks in all but one category.
Let's say they are cheap, did you ever consider that you would change them more often the other tires? So that would make them more expensive then the others since you need to get news so often.
Now if you would say the Falken Azenis is the stickiest street tire then I would agree with you there! Because with all honesty if the Azenis is the best bang for the buck tire then what is the Goodyear F1 GS-D3? Gods gift to cars!
I am not saying the Azenis is not a great tire it is. I have a set for auto-x but to consider it a best bang for the buck tire that is a big no no. The azenis are only good at 2 things grip to dry pavement very well and not lasting that long.
To the OP.... what are you looking for apart from traction? Did you need wet traction do you need a good treadlife? Is this car dayly driven?
If you have money and the need the best posibile traction in dry and wet and with a good treadlife then I would go with the Goodyear F1 GS-D3.
If you don't have the cash then I would go with the Kumho SPT which the best bang for the buck tire out right now. The F1 GS-D3 is a much better tire but the price comes with it!

They are nowhere near as good as the Kumho Ecsta SPT, which is around the same price.
I agree with everything DaveSi677 posted.
