TUNING ? FOR YOU LS/VTEC GUYS....
I CURRENTLY HAVE A B16 (ODB0)COMP THAT I WAS GOING TO USE ON MY LS/VTEC. BUT I WAS TOLD IT WOULD LEAN OUT. IS THIS TRUE? IS THERE A WAY SO THAT I CAN USE THIS COMP AS IN LIKE A FUEL REG. OR SOMETHING? NOW I ALSO HAVE A P28 AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT BY SOCKETING THE COMP AND PUTTING A TYPE R MAP ON IT WOULD ADD A LITTLE MORE FUEL SO THAT IT DIDNT LEAN OUT.. WOULD SWITCHING TO ODB1 WOULD MAKE IT RUN BETTER AND MORE DEPENDABLE. OR WOULD I BE BETTER OFF THE THE SIMPLICTY OF ODB0? ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE...
THANKS
THANKS
Zdyne, Bre, and TurboEdit are all OBD0 tuning tools that can be used with OBD0 ECU's. Do some research on PGMFI.ORG and weigh your options.
I prefer the OBD-1 ROM Editors to the OBD-0 counterparts.
On my father's CRX, we had tons of trouble trying to get the damn thing to run seamlessly while OBD-0.
We made the jump to OBD-1, and ran like a top right away. Possibly because our tuner has a better understanding of the OBD-1 stuff.
