Default sunroof

I know for a fact I'm not the only 4th gen lude owner who has had problems with their sunroof rusting. Do any of you know where I can get a 5th gen sunroof with mounting brackets. I want to do a conversion of the glass sunroof in place of my current moonroof and eliminate having to change my sunroof again. Thanks ahead for any info.

I've checked the yards around here and they all suck. I can't find the sunroof around here at all. I looked on ebay, but came up with nothing. As far as the weight. I'm not sure how much lighter the glass is? (Searching)

Actually, the same can be said about the 5th gen's. The frame holding the glass on mine is rusting and I didn't even notice this until recently. Everybody should check theirs...

Check ebay I'm sure they come up once in a while, they look nice on fourth gens just remember you have to tint the glass if you don't wanna slow-cook your head.

Glass ones are heavier than steel ones
Over on PreludeUK we're getting some CF replacements made up, that work off the stock mechanism.

that would be sweet as all hell to have that piece replaced by carbon and still work. let everyone know if it goes through

I like the way the CF look can be done, but it's not a direction i want to take my car. If any of you come across a glass 5th gen sunroof with mounting brackets, please hit me up with a pm. Much appreciated.
