Default dc jdm 4-1 : a question about its quality

Ok I know that the dc header gives good power, and is priced real well. But how is the quality. DC doesnt seem to have as much respect as some of the other brands out there, but is there really a reason why? How would you guys rate the quality of this piece. Of course its not OEM, but thats not what we are looking for. All I want is a solid piece that will last and get the job done. Also, whats the difference between the ceramic and ss, is there really a need for the ss?

I have it, and I'm getting rid of it. The ceramic header cracked on me at the collector welds after a bout of hard driving. You probably wouldn't have that problem with the stainless steel version though. I think it's a great cheap alternative to the Mugen 4-1 seeing as how it's pretty much a direct copy.

Stick with the SS JDM 4-1 header and you should be happy. There was a header test a while back and the dyno proved that the DC 4-1 header did quite well compared to other headers, considering that it was half the price for some. Stay away from the ceramic headers. I've heard a lot of stories about cracks on ceramic headers.
