i have a 95 eg and want a k series engine.. the problem is that the one i want is a k20 type r but every where i look is $5000.00 or more. i found some guy thats sellin me a '03 type s head, '03 accord k24 block (dont know the model number), and a '03 type s tranny for $1800.00.. now my questions... 1 is it worth buy the k20 type r or the '03 set-up?? 2 can i get the same or more power from the '03 set-up(addin $3000.00 in parts), that i get from the k20 type r?? 3 which is the best way to go?? please i need to know???? thanks...

 

Buy the complete swap. If you try to piece it together, it's going to cost you more in the long run.
