well my car was stolen from my house between the hours of 11pm 2/13 and 6am 2/14. it was parked in my driveway with my roommate parked behind me. they broke into his jeep backed him out of the driveway and i geuss took mine past his through the grass. im just in shock. i bought the car 11-30-00 with 12 miles on her. It has been my car for over 6 years. and no matter how much of a pain it had been sometimes or the money that ive spend on it, i feel like ive lost a friend. with the bad there were always the good times as well. ive always said i was going to sell it and i would get offers and just say no because i couldnt part with it. now some *** bag stole it

and i had just put a new batterey in it that day! plus i had more parts inside waiting to be put on to fix some of the problems. i was finally getting my car back to where i wanted it and now its gone.

any of you philly guys be on the look out for a my car. (milano red, jdm front, turbo, built bottom end, corbeau seats, etc.) i can only hope i get it back in one piece but ive been on this board way too long to know thats a very very slim next to impossible chance.

and yes i know you all hate the hood. but maybe that ugly hood will make it easier to spot

 

OMG.. that's terrible, given the rarity of a MR JDM front R, I'm sure the theives are going to park it in a garage or something and rape the **** out of it, this is probably a total loss situation

make sure you keep an eye on craigslist for your parts, many Integra parts on there lately.

 

If you think about it, stealing a car in a snow storm is probably pretty smart, no one will be outside, and there will be tow trucks everywhere so no one will raise an eyebrow.

yea durning the snow storm on valentines day no less.

about 8 months ago there was a big theft ring of hondas going on in my area, including my roommates crx getting stolen and a guy i work with civic getting stolen within 2 weeks of each other, not even including the other number of hondas i heard about being stolen. i was so happy mine made it out alive of that and then fast forward to today, and its gone. i called the cops yesterday they took a report, and i called insurance and im waiting to talk to them more today to see what my options are and what not. i know ill never get anywhere close to what i put into my car over the years. i would have much rather it been sold and gone somewhere that someone could have had fun with it and not destroy it.

 

God i hate these posts....

That is why I think a prereq to owning a R is having a garage ready for her. But jesus, to think they would go to all the trouble of moving another car out of the way just to get to yours. ******* thieves...internet is just making it too easy for them to pick their prey.

thanks jim, let me know if you hear anything. youve known my car for almost as long as i have. i met many cool people and different groups of people because of my car and had a lot of fun over the years. and you know me i always said i wanted to sell but i never could i had it way to long to let it go. even at its worst it was still my car. blahhh just sucks. i have that empty stomache feeling

i pretty much built this car so if anyone has any info on parts, there are a few little quirks only andy and i know. so pass them along to us.

it is weird, i put the battery in it that night. and my wheels were on it too. boo thieves.
i am goin past water street tonight to see if i notice anything.
i have heard that garages arent even safe. the guys doin this have *****. and a roll back and a trailer.

 

I hate hearing this stuff...its every R owners nightmare.

So... prior to that evening, would it have been startable/driveable!?! Broken glass at the scene?

Several months ago I ran into a guy who knew Goodfella (I don't know Goodfella, but this guy saw my caR and started talking to me at a burger joint), and he had mentioned that car was just sitting in a driveway and not in use. I hope this isn't at all related.

yea the car has been driven everyday its my daily driver. my battery just started needing to be jumped every now and then and with this weather i didnt want to chance it. do you remember what that guys name was? and this person said they knew me?

and no broken glass at scene. only damage we can see was to my roommates jeeps soft top which they broke to get into his car to back it down the driveway then back mine down i suppose.
