Default 95 Accord rear deck speaker grills rub on new speakers

Last weekend I replaced the stock tape player and rear speakers (front speakers on the way) and the only problem I had was the stock speaker grills don't have enough clearance for the new Infinity 6x9 which has a tweeter that protrudes from the speaker by approx 3/8". I got the grill to partially screw back on but now it pushes on the tweater and shurely will rattle and possibly harm the speaker.

Anyone run into this, are there any aftermarket grills that have more clearance? I thought about mounting the speakers from the bottom of the rear deck instead of from the top?

Thanks - Jeff

I thought about leaving the stock grills off but 1. that is an invitation to get your car broken into when people see nice aftermarket speakers and 2. it's ugly - even using the speaker grills that came with the speakers it looks ugly because it doesn't cover all of the non-carpeted area.

either trim the plastic out of that area of the grill or bottom mount them
