Clutch Part
I have a serious leak in my clutch system. Today I found where this leak was coming from. It's circled in the pic below.

Do any of your know what that part is called and also in my manual it shows that there is a seal that goes in the end of that part that leads to the damper. I'm really just wanting to know if you all have any experience with this and what the part is called. Also would you replace the seal or would you recommend doing the single braided stainless line from the master cylinder all the way to the slave and remove all of the other stuff like in this topic?https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=5. Thanks for the input ahead of time.

lol.. Dang.. I just had the same problem today.. My clutch went all the way to the freakin' floor on my way to class this morning..
^^ = No fluid in my Slave Resavor*(sp?), so I added some and pumped for a while.. I've at least made it home.. And hoping it'll last the rest of the week even if I have to keep putting some fluid in it.. :/
But I think I'm about to read that thread and probably do that.. Sounds like a fix.. Permanently, hah!

I'mon my way to dealership right now to find out some part numbers. This should help you if you want to by pass all the BS and do the single stainless line all the way from the master cylinder to the slave. https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=6

it looks like the hose is item #12 and the joint is item # 9

Hey, that's my pic
If it's leaking from the the bolt, then I would just get a new banjo bolt from Honda and a washer (if there's one in there) and be done with it. If the actual line is leaking then just get a new line (probably cheaper if you go to a local hydraulic place). You can order any Honda part from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or http://www.slhondaparts.com and they will ship it to your door.
If you want to replace it with a SS line it will clean up your engine bay a lot, but it's a bigger job than just fixing the leak.

I meant the photograph of the damper at the top that someone carefully stuck a different logo onto.

I just used the pic because it showed exactly where my problem was coming from. Only problem is that I am not sure if it's coming from the banjo bold, the metal gasket that seals the hose in, or if it's from the hose itself. I don't know who put the logo on your pics but i'm happy i found it. Anyone know about how long a job like thta would take. I mean changing the hose from the clutch joint to the damper? I'm getting the parts in the morning. I think I'll do it on Saturday, but I've never messed with that stuff. It looks pretty easy to get to. I know Hawkze, you have replaced your whole line right? Anythign I need to remove in order to get to everything better. Sorry if these are noob questions but yeah, I'm a noob to this.
I would spray your clutch components down with degreaser or something and wash the area and let it dry..push in the clutch a few times....then see if you can pinpoint where the leak is...GL
I spoke with the parts guy at the dealership and he said that the joint you showed in that link, never gets changed. Well he said that he has never had to order one. All the fittings and bolts around it go out, but he's never seen someone change the joint itself.
I ordered my parts from the dealer and I'm going to fix it myself. I'm 99% positive it's neither the master or the slave. I have no fluid on the firewall and I saw where the fluid was leaking. My clutch engages fine most of the time. It's driveable, but I don't always have the right amount of pressure. Basically I'm loosing fluid so fast that I can feel it in the clutch when the fluid comes out because i loose pressure. Good news is I know what the problem is and it will be fixed.
My only concern right now is that the leak is coming from the banjo bolt. I didn't order one so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it's not that. If it is it's not really a big deal though. Just order one and slap it in there. Bleeding this is gonna be the biatch.

Yeah, the banjo bolt won't go bad, just the washer most likely. It's a crush washer so once you tighten it down it will seal very well....and yeah, you'll have some fun bleeding the air out.

sweetness. Hawkze, I really appreciate your input. You guys have all been a huge help in this process. Hopefully this will all be done soon. About bleeding, would you recommend a bleeder pump to do it? I've heard it makes the job easier, but I've never used one.
