Default How to remove 95 accord OEM speaker grill?

They're tan, dirty, and look kinda ugly... I think it would be better off w/ the speaker grills off and only have the speakers showing.

btw, whats the size on the speakers for the rear and front? i might replace them soon.

The front speakers are, I believe, 6 1/2 and the rear speakers are 6x9.

I think each rear grill is screwed on by 3 screws. Two on the edges of one side, and one in the middle of the other side.

The 4 screws are for the speaker sleve. If you are unscrewing the speaker, you need to take the grill off first, from under the trunk, then you go above and take out the screws for the speaker and remove them. I do not remember the stock size in the rear, but the hole can fit up to a 6x9.

The LX and DX Accord comes with a round speaker in the rear (dont remember the size).
The EX comes stock with a 6x9. You can get the speaker sleve from the EX, or you can get an aftermarket one to fit.

its a good way to get your door speakers smashed when you get in and out of the car. i bet you don't even realize how many times you kick or scrape the grill everytime.

and in the back a good reason to get your rear window smashed out and all your stuff stolen.

Oh, yea. That's true! I didnt even realized that he said that he wanted to compeletly remove the grills. Yes, they would definately get smashed and stolen. I thought he wanted to rewrap them or wash them or something like that. Even spray painting them back to the tan color would work.
