Look in the direction of ECT sensor, there is a little wax pellet in there. When it starts going bad... Bogus signals get sent to the ECU, flooding the engine on hot re-starts.
Next time the condtions are right, dis-connect the sensor before you try starting it. It will cause a code, but should start up if that the problem. You will find it under the distrubuter comming of the head. It's the one with the two wires. The other one there just has one wire. It's for the temp gauge.

ok thanks for the input also if i were to replace the ECT will i improve the milage if thats the faluty sensor, i also find that if i ture off the ingtion and coast to a stop with it still in gear it starts back up beter. also will the ECT give the car a "shackey" idle , or is that a broken motor mount? thanks for the input 88crx

Actually, it's a thermistor. A temperature sensitive resistor. Otherwise, the rest of your post is valid.
Re: the shakey idle... If the ECT was sending the wrong onfo, I guess the engine could run like crap because the air/fuel ratio would be incorrect. And it could effect mileage if the ECU thought the engine was cold all the time.
