why are si models heavier than non-si's?

Default why are si models heavier than non-si's?

like the title says, wonderin the differences between my 1988 si and the hf/dx models. otherwise, what can I remove to help it weigh less that the hf models dont have?

mostly the sunroof.

and rear swaybar.

The biggest thing is the sunroof. Look online for the bolt on cover to remove the sunroof. I'll see if I can find it again, and I'll post where to find it.

i was wondering about the same question, but i figured it was because of the sun roof...

i also assumed that the motor weighed more or something like that... but i guess i was wrong.

Its true though. All you would really have to do is search this for like 5 mins and you would have found 23502835 differences between a Si and the Hf. Dont forget that the Si has that stupid tar stuff on the floor boards that the Hf doesnt have. Also the rear wiper stuff, bigger motor, sway bars, SUNROOF, seats are bigger, rear interior is different, the steering wheel is different, and you cannot forgot the Si badge itself. I heard the little dot in the I wieghs a extra 15 pounds.

And for someone to have over 400 posts and own a Si...come one tell me you know the differences between a Si and a Hf....what is this word coming to.

hey man, I just bought the si a week ago. I had a prelude before it and I got rid of it to buy the si. im 16 and dont know too much about cars. im trying to learn, I'm not gonna bull **** you, but this is my 2nd post about crx's
