Default Okay guys, Wont start need help:) New car

Hi, my name is steve and im brand new to prelude's so excuse my ignorance
I just bought a 1997 2.2 vtec
I bought it with a wrecked quarter panel from the old scrap yard clear title.
Had to be towed to my house as it wont start, yet it ran fine in the yard.
Car has spark, im using the proper key, has fuel.
will only crank. The yard thought it was the starter/alarm when it wouldnt go so they removed it. still no go.
ANy help would be great
Thanks
Steve

you're postive it's getting spark? What about the starter connections? I'd take the starter up to Auto Zone and have it tested. What about the battery? Try jumping the car and see if that does anything. Just start off with the simple things and then move up from there

pull the the fuel supply hose off the rail and put the end in a jar. turn the ignition on and you'll get a couple cups of fuel in the jar. see if it has water in it.

If it turns over its not the starter, how is the battery? Ive had cars before where they would turn over but they would not start. Swaped in a new battery and kicked like a muel. Have you tried a new/different battery?

mechanic came out and said the motor should start. He said the imobilizer is working but thinks its the remote starter bypass bunging it all up.
Im going to remove it and reattach the cut wires for it and see!! cross your fingers for me
