its an h22a...so it would start up and then shut back off like it was doing last month so i went and checked everything that i had done before to try and fix it but to no avail.., so i researched and found out that my idle issue might have somethng to do with the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve). so i took off my intake and to get to it, took off one of the coolant hoses and then got two of the bolts off and couldnt fit the socket over the 3rd because of some metal piece in the way so i put the bolts back in and forgot to hook the hose and ground wire for something back up. tried to crank it and it didnt start then remembered that i had unhooked a hose and a ground wire. hooked those back up and started the car (intake still off) and put my finger over the hole inside the intake manifold that goes to the FITV and it was working fine. so i hooked up the intake again and the car didnt shut off and it idled fine. got in the car to drive around the block and now when i press the gas down it doesnt go over 1500rpms and sound like its gurgling. so i parked it a few spots down and tried to give it some gas at the throttle under the hood and it sounded fine unless i presssed it most of the way down and then theres a loud pop. im like this close to giving up on it...does anyone know what might be the problem....
