http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting

my car is lowered like 2.5 inches and i was wondering if the axle back part would hit since it looks like it goes under the rear and not over..... i also got a ww rs kit on my car do you think it would sound good and fit up nice.

It's not opinion here, it will sound like ***!! there is not enough sound suppresion to make it sound Deep like a GOOD cat-back should. Just look at all the good sounding, quality exhaust out there (like GReddy, RS-R, HKS and so on) and compare to this one. There is not enough muffler or resonator there to sound good, that's why ALL fart cans and fart can exhaust sound like they do. besides sound, it will most likely rust and or come apart at the welds due to the cheap quality. How do you think they can sale it so cheap and still make money?? they gotta cut corners somehow (like cheap metal, welds and mufflers).

Ebay is great AS LONG AS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR BUYING!!!

Do yourself a favor and buy a GOOD exhaust, you will NEVER regret it!!!

thats why i bought the thermal muffler i like it but i just dont have the mid pipe for it to mate up... so i was wondering where i can get one just so it could be oem aftermarket so it will bolt right up..

my car has a custom hiflow cat and 2.5 midpipe on it now that i could cut my old muffler off and get it welded on to the new thermal but i just didnt wanna do that if i could get a new mid pipe that i could just bolt right up to the thermal axle back part i just got

if anyone knows where i can get a THERMAL mid pipe or any midpipe for a 88-91 civic hatchback that will mate up to my thermal R&D let me know please

thanks -jay

My friend bought that exact Tenrai exhaust a few weeks ago, way better than the 18 year old rusty piece of **** he had on there and it is 2 1/4" and sounds stock with the silencer in. With it out it is louder but it is not all crackly and raspy. For $90 (Plus the usual EGAY shipping price gouge) its the best you will get for $200.

i agree, definatly the best setup you can buy for $200. my buddy bought the EXACT same kit for his hatchback, and imo its a piece of crap, the car doesnt sound modified at all, sounds like a fart can without the silencer

if your gonna buy an exhaust kit, do it right ONCE man, if you want high flow, spend the extra few hundred and get the highflow.. if you want it for a bit of sound, and looks, by all means grab this up

bottom line is you pay for what you get. go cheap you get cheap and you'll regret it later. which in turn you'll spend more money buying the exhaust you want.

go to a damn muffler shop and have them make you a midpipe that bolts up to the thermal.

Its not that hard and it will cost less than trying to find an aftermarket midpipe.

Exactly what I was gonna say. The drive there will be loud if your open header, but hell, I've done it.

Get a B-pipe fabbed for you at an exhaust shop. You'll love the Thermal Exhaust BTW, it has the best tone out of any on the market IMO.

Well they are stanless, so there not going to rust, and if anything the pipes will be good just get a better muff latter.

all u need is a good namebrand muffler and it'll sound fine....piping is piping, aslong as its stainless steal, 2.5 or 2.25, and mandrel bent ur fine...Just because the piping might say skunk 2 or greddy on it, doesnt mean it'll sound a lot better or give u any more horsepower, it would only mean u payed a lot for a logo...

W/o a resonator it will still sound crappy, you need a good resonator AND muffler for good sound. Look at ANY high quality street exhaust, the smaller their muffler is (HKS Hyper for example) the bigger the resonator, or in HKSs case they had 2 resonators due to the small diameter of the muffler. just use COMMON FREAKIN SENSE and you will be amazed at what you can figure out on your own.
