oem wing mounting issue
does all integras from 98 to 01 have the same tailgate? so a dc2 ITR wing would fit a db8, or any other gsr and ls?
maybe it was because i was tierd but it seemd like the wing i got was to wide. but it had a honda stamp under on of the legs

but i have to see it that fits before i could snap and flame scammers</TD></TR></TABLE>
It won't fit...
I just ran into this problem about 5 mins ago.
The wing is from a 2000 Integra Type R and the car to put it on is a 96 RS Coupe. One bolt matches up, the other one doesn't, plus theirs an extra hole on the Type R wing...
The problem now is, how do I install this? Since their was an oem spoiler on the car that had an led light, therefore 5 holes on the trunk, anyone ever worked around this problem?
It sucks cause she paid $300 for this and now it probably won't fit... I know I'd have to drill other holes, but my question is, won't it make that part kind of weak? since theirs gonna be 5 holes on one side and 4 on the other?

I don't understand why it won't fit. The reason the OP's wing didn't fit is because the DC and the DB have different trunk/hatch. As far as I know, there are only two holes per side on a DC. This is true about the 3 DC's I have. I don't get why you need 5 holes on one side and 4 on the other.

The entire thing with 4 on one side and 5 on the other, is because when I set the wing on the car the first time, I'd have to drill 2 extra holes on each side.
The reason why one side has one hole extra is because the old wing has light, therefore they have to run the wire in that hole.
Any ways, I checked it again properly, and the wing isn't even the right one, it's a big **** off, $300 down the drain... they sold me a wing for a Prelude instead... and found this out AFTER getting it painted
Gotta get a real Type R one now, and make sure it FITS!
