removing the power steering?
what is the best way to remove the power steering unit without making a big mess. my power steering is leaking and i'm going to replace it myself, but i can't find a place to drain the fluid out without making a big mess.
the best method I found was to rig a bottle to stay up with a funnel in it directly under the reservoir.
Slowly remove the bottom hose from the reservoir and wait for the fluid to drain, you'll get a little messy, but if you're careful enough it should be a fairly clean job.
if you're removing the pump, just make sure to have a few rags as you remove the lines from it to soak up the fluid as you take them off.
