Hood repair issue. Help please.
I rear ended someone a few weeks ago and the body shop sed they can fix the repairs for about 900. The hood got bent up on one side about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. The other side was fine, just alittle off on the body gap. After I dropped it off at the shop they noticed that the actual subframe under the hood got bent. They said they can fix it but theres a chance that the hood might lose its shape again and flex up again.
1. Is this tru?
2. If so, how long of a time period would it take before you can see a difference.
I wanted to know because I told him to try to fix it, but if it is going to lose its shape again in less then a year I might as well get money together and buy a carbon hood.
Thanks

It was 900 to fix the hood the headlights and the bumper. I bought new headlights and the hood is the only thing im having an issue with. I have a few car events coming up real soon and I wanted the car back for them. But I guess if after a few months I dont wanna risk having a missed up hood that will change shapes ill get a cf hood.
