Worth changing timming belt yourself? Or better just to pay dealer?
Ive changed timmming belts on d and B series engines but never on accords. I need to change the timming belt on a 4cyl 95 EX but heard they are tricky. The dealer just quoted me $590!!! to change the belt, water pump, tensioner!! Is that high or is it just a tricky car??

In fact, you will only have 1 cam sprocket to worry about.
don't forget that the F22B1 (94-97 EX) also has a balancer shaft belt. So that'll add a little extra cost to buying parts and also a little extra work to make sure they are lined up on installation.

Yes, they are just as easy as a d series. Save yourself $500 and do it yourself if you have done others before.
thanks for all the input guys:
I was unfamiliar with the balancer shaft belt that why i was asking? Whats the purpose of that anyways?
So my parts list would be:
timing belt
tensioner
water pump
and?
balancer shaft belt?"

If I managed to pull the head off of mine and change everything out involved with that and do all the belts by myself for the first time, ever, you can manage fine w/ your previous experience.

I have done D, H and F, its all the same stuff.. with the "big blocks"(F, H,) you have to make sure you position the balancer shaft belt correctly, its not a big deal.
there is an access hole to "hold" the shaft in the correct position. i know there is a good write up on another site of how to do the t-belt on an f series. i'll check if i bookmarked it.
Anyhow good luck.

Back of the block under the cover. remember to "unhold" the shaft after you are done.

sorry about the confusion, I was more of referring to the F22B1 because thats what the OP has in their 95 EX.
If I'm not mistaken, all F series engines in 90-02 Accords (any trim level) have a timing belt and a balancer shaft belt (a.ka. timing balancer belt).

Our '92 LX & '98 EX both have it.
Lots of bigger-displacement 4-cylinder engines have balance shafts that spin at twice the speed of the crank. They have eccentric weights that counteract some 2nd-order vibrations.
