Have you ever worked on a car before? There's alot of stuff in the rear, taillights, exhaust, suspension, etc...
If you want to change differentials, then the Nissan R200 differential is tough to beat. 200mm ring gear, came in R32 skylines, na 300zx's, and 350z's. Fairly light as far as differentials go (R230 from TT 300zx is over 30lbs heavier) and nearly indestructable. Cheap too, about $50 for a non-LSD, and NISMO sells anb adjustable 2-way clutch type.
I know people have used these for drifting in excess of 500hp, and clutch kicks are about the worst thing you can do to any drivetrain part.

I manufacture a complete rear assembly that includes new driveshaft new rear assembly and new halfshafts. I use an 8 3/4 chrysler rear centersection w/ 33 spline rifle drilled stub axles.
(I have had a car go 7.60's on 33 spline axles at almost 3200lbs so you will not break them). The original prototype rear is in the fastest s2k (Arnold Tamasar) in the country and the newer version is even better and stronger. All bulletproof parts. 609-851-2810
I hope I don't get slammed

We will be doing our r230 swap in my s2k here within the next few weeks
I am going to be talking to dss very soon about supplying the custom axles for the swap and I will be building the mounts

I have a customer that has that in his S2000. Supra Diff, custom axles and drive line, mounts and all. Works very well.
I will give you his contact info.

i forget the name but theres a company out there that make somewhat of a kit to put a 350x rear into a s2k
So:
Diff Techniques R200
Inline Pro R200
JG-Fab R230
Kasper Race Cars Chrysler 8 3/4" (~222 mm)
Race Tech Motorsports Supra
Do any of these still work with stock center caps and lugs?
Are any available with a ratio in the range of 3.6:1 - 3.7:1?
Thanks.
Tim
